Questions, answered
Does my client see anything different when they open my link?
No. They see a normal short link that opens your document exactly as expected. The open alert goes to you only — nothing is shown on their end, and nothing about them personally is collected. Brand-new free accounts briefly show a destination preview until the account is verified.
How is this different from email read receipts?
Read receipts tell you an email was opened. They don't tell you the proposal was. A client can see your email in a preview pane and never click through. Peekd tells you the document itself was opened — and which one, if you sent several.
Isn't link tracking a bit creepy?
